Resistance switching

~ when the inductive current or capacitive current is broken high voltage oscillation is produced.

~ this can damage the system.

~ to overcome this a resistor is connected across the circuit breaker contact,

~ this is called resistance switching when a fault occurs the contact of the circuit breaker opens and an arc is generated between the contacts.

~ now that the resistance R is connected to the cross of the contacts ,some part of the arc current flows through this resistance thus the value of the arc current flows through this resistance thus the value of the arc current decreases.

~ And the rate of deionization of the arc path increases.

~ this increases the arc resistance so that the value of the arc current flowing from the shunt resistance R increases.

~ this process continues and eventually the arc dries out and circuit current is interrupted.

~ the shunt resistance increases the resting voltage and increases the resting voltage and increases it acronymically up to the recovery voltage.

~ the woman with the defect is less likely to be a burden to0 the circuit hacker.

~ when the inductive or capacitive load is switched the high density rouster.

~ in a multiback circuit breaker has low contact zero of the plan brake circuit breaker has low contact space so no resistance swimming is require.

~ but the cost of post zero resins  is higher in air blast circuit breaker hence voltage choking is product due to  cut chopping so resistance switching is used.
