Auto recloser

~ Based on the duration of faults in the system, the faults are categorized as follows:

 1. Transient faults

 2. Semi-permanent fault

 3. permanent faults

~  About 80% of all photos are of the transient type.

~ There are about 21 Fast Semi-Permanent types and about 7 Fast Permanent types of love, i.e. most of the Over head Line  Transient type.

~  This type of burst is caused by lightning, leaves, tree branches, etc. falling on the line.

~  This causes arching, if the power supply is cut off for a short period of time this dries up and then the line can be re-energized, this principle is used in auto recloser.

~  The fault causes the circuit breaker to trip due to the relay operating and after some time the circuit joker is closed.

~  If the fault is of transit type then the clipper is done and the line is activated, if the fault is not cleared during the first recloser then a second or third attempt is made for isolation and recloser.

~  If the fault is still ongoing it is kept open and the fault is removed manually.

~  Oil circuit reclosers are more commonly used in unattended type substations and in rural distribution systems.

~ Large recharge fbs are of single phase or three phase type.

~  Most transmission lines for single phase are ground;

~  Type fault or so single phase type auto recloser is used.

~Relocating a single phase note maintains the stability of the system, as the power supply continues through the other two phases.
