1) single pole one way switch - It has two terminals. There is a contact between the two, which is operated by a knob. Spring is used for instantaneous turn off. Lamps, fans etc. can be turned on and off with the help of this switch. These switches are of surface mounting type or flush mounting type. Found in a rating of 5 A, found in a rating of 15 A for domestic equipment.
2) single pole two way switch - The exterior design is the same as above, but there are three terminals inside. There is one common terminal, which connects to the other two terminals simultaneously. It is used for stair and other wiring.
3) pool switch-This switch is also called a cord switch. The switch is held in place and operated with a cord. Pulling the cord once turns the switch on and pulling it a second time turns it off. Double pole

The bayonet cap type lamp holder has a spring and two pins. The top of the holder has a groove on the outside. There are two small pins on the outside of the lamp.
